Application: SyncScholar
Developer / Studio: Masvertex Studios
Applicable Arena: The Academic Forum, Q&A Nodes, and Resource Scratchpads
SyncScholar was built by a student, for students. Our mission is to level the academic playing field across the Philippines by turning isolated mobile phones into one massive, synchronized study group.
To keep this arena fast, reliable, and safe, every scholar must abide by the Five Pillars of the Forum:
Pillar I: Elevate, Do Not Forge
The Academic Forum exists for conceptual synthesis. It is a place to ask “Can someone explain how the Commutative Property works in Grade 4 Math?”
• The Line: It is NOT a place to upload a photograph of your blank homework worksheet and say "Do this for me."
• Do not publish plagiarized essays, generate raw AI blocks and claim them as original human research, or circulate forged academic citations.
Pillar II: Absolute Integrity on Standardized Testing
We maintain a strict, non-negotiable Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding live assessment compromise.
• You are strictly prohibited from soliciting, posting, or linking to leaked answer keys for live state examinations, including the UPCAT, ACET, DCAT, USTET, DepEd National Achievement Tests (NAT), or active university Prelims/Midterms.
• Any account caught circulating compromised test keys will be permanently vaporized, and their device fingerprint will be blacklisted.
Pillar III: Radical Academic Civility
SyncScholar welcomes students from every strand (STEM, HUMSS, ABM, ICT, GAS) and every institution across the archipelago.
• Keep the inter-school rivalries on the basketball court; keep the forum strictly academic.
• We enforce zero tolerance for regionalist slurs, university elitism, ad-hominem insults, cyberbullying, or targeted harassment of educators. Critique the methodology; respect the scholar.
Pillar IV: Categorical Cleanliness
A digital library is only as useful as its index. When posting to the directory or the forum, ensure your metadata is strictly accurate:
• Do not post a meme inside the `Senior High / Statistics` channel.
• Do not label a standard Q&A inquiry as a "Research Survey" just to bypass audience visibility filters.
• Mis-tagged content will be instantly intercepted and re-indexed or deleted by community moderators.
Pillar V: The Shield Belongs to Everyone
Administrators cannot be on every screen at every second. Therefore, platform safety is a shared sovereign duty.
• If you witness a bad-faith actor distributing malicious hyperlinks, posting inappropriate media, or harassing a younger student, tap the 'Report Post' icon instantly.
• You do not need to engage or argue with trolls; utilize the inline "Block User" action to permanently sever their profile from your device's ecosystem.
The Three-Strike Interception Protocol
1. Strike One (Informal Glitch): Content removed; an automated friendly reminder is routed to your user notification center.
2. Strike Two (Willful Disruption): Content purged; your profile is placed on a 7-day 'Shadow Mute' (you can read the library, but your forum write-privileges are frozen).
3. Strike Three (Absolute Severance): Irreversible cascading account termination.
Work hard, cite your sources, help the scholar sitting to your left, and let’s elevate Philippine education together.
